Welcome to the Heart of Currahee

Situated on one of the highest points in the community with panoramic views of Lake Hartwell, the Currahee Clubhouse features fine dining with inspiring dishes from our award-winning culinary team and a warm, inviting Fazio Pub and lounge, perfect for a quick bite or post-round cocktail with friends and neighbors. In addition to dining, the Clubhouse also features a billiard room, four grand fireplaces, a coffee shop, golf shop and extremely well-appointed men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Community Garden

Inspiration for many of the chef’s delectable dishes, Currahee Club’s community garden encourages residents and members to roll up their sleeves and play in the dirt. A gathering spot, the community garden is an opportunity to connect with nature and each other while enjoying the bounty of the land, including homegrown fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Wellness Center

Indoors, the Sports Complex features a fully-equipped, 24-hour wellness center, offering classes like the all-women’s bootcamp, state-of-the-art treadmills and personalized coaching with our trainer-in-residence. For rainy afternoons, the family can enjoy our game room, stocked with board games, XBox and Wii stations.

Canoe Bar & Grill

Located at our Sports Complex, the Canoe Bar & Grill is the ideal spot for lunch by the pool or a tasty beverage after a tennis match. Members’ favorites include quesadillas, chicken caesar salad, canoe burger and fresh fruit salad with sorbet. To top it off, kids can enjoy homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.

    Film location for Tom Hanks’ Band of Brothers, Currahee Mountain is located 20 minutes from the gates of Currahee Club, offering easy access to hiking trails with dramatic views of Toccoa and the surrounding area. Currahee Club is also located near the Appalachian, Bartram and Foothills trail systems.

  • Whitewater Rafting

    Chosen as the venue for the 1996 Olympic whitewater events, the Ocoee River runs from Tennessee to North Georgia. If the thrills of whitewater rafting are more your speed, there are several different outdoor expedition companies and rivers a short drive from Currahee Club.

    There is no better setting than the picturesque North Georgia mountains to soar through the trees and fly over wooded expanses, naturally powered by gradual elevation changes. Ziplining is just a short ride away and is a memory-making adventure for everyone.

Renowned for its striped bass fishing, Lake Hartwell caters to sportsmen and amateurs alike and its awe-inspiring scenery makes a peaceful afternoon on one of our kayaks or a cruise aboard our club pontoon the definition of relaxation. Whether you want to set a hook off the docks at Currahee Lake Park or take to the open water, you’ll find your rhythm of life on the shorelines of Currahee Club

Currahee Lake Park & Pavilion

Featuring 12 community boat slips, Currahee Lake Park & Pavilion gives every resident access to 56,000-acre Lake Hartwell. Enjoy tranquility at the water’s edge, a book or afternoon nap in one of the lakeside hammocks or cast your line off the covered community boat dock or from a canoe on the lake. Constructed in 2017, Currahee Club’s newest edition, the Lake Pavilion, offers the perfect gathering spot for a summer’s barbeque complete with fire pits and space for fun for over 100 guests. Currahee Lake Park & Pavilion also offers easy access to the community’s miles of walking trails.

An Outdoor Paradise

From renowned bass fishing to secluded fishing holes along feeder streams, Currahee Club offers immediate access to North Georgia’s lakes, rivers and streams. The family can enjoy a day on the lake from secluded islands with swimming holes to recreational boating, skiing and tubing to canoeing and kayaking. Forgot your water toys? No problem! Kayaks are available at Currahee Lake Park & Pavilion. There is no shortage of activities for everyone in and around Currahee Club.

Currahee Club Boat Rentals

Currahee Club offers immediate access to North Georgia’s lakes, rivers and streams. From an afternoon on the water to a full day of watersports with family and friends, Currahee Club’s boat rental program provides guests with kayaks, canoes and a pontoon, ready to launch at your convenience. Kayaks and canoes are available for $40/day. Pontoon rental includes a full tank of gas and is available for half- and full-day rentals ($250/half day and $350/full day).

Catawba Trail

Residents and members at Currahee Club can enjoy the great outdoors right here on property with our 1.5-mile trail loop called Catawba Trail. Perfect for a brisk morning walk or afternoon jog, this picturesque trail features fit stations, a series of outdoor exercise stations and equipment with instructional signs designed for both novice and conditioned athletes.
